Reducer heat treatment technology
In the process of reducing or expanding the deformation of the pipe, it is determined that cold pressing or hot pressing is adopted according to different materials and diameters of the pipe. Under normal conditions, cold pressing is used as much as possible, but for multiple variable diameters, it is severe. In the case of work hardening, the case where the wall thickness is thick or the material of the alloy steel is preferably hot pressed. The expansion molding uses a tube blank smaller than the diameter of the large end of the reducer, and the inner mold is formed along the inner diameter of the tube. This method mainly solves the problem that the size of the reducer is not easily formed by reducing the diameter, and sometimes the method of expanding and reducing the diameter according to the forming requirements of the material and the product.
Since the size of the pipe reducer is a heated and pressed tee, the tonnage of the equipment required for material formation is reduced. Hot-pressed tees have a wide range of material suitability for low carbon steels, alloy steels and stainless steels; especially for large diameter and three-way thick pipe walls. In addition to the use of steel pipes as raw materials for the production of reducers, the size of the reducer can also be used to produce steel sheets by a stamp forming process. The inner surface of the reducer is designed to be stamped and stretched by the die after cutting.
