Raised Face Weld Neck Flange
Rainsed face weld neck flang is one of flange, Flange is an element that binds two components of a pipeline system, enabling it to be disassembled without destructive operations. Flanges are mounted in pairs and generally united by screws, maintained the contact surface between two flanges under compression force in order to seal the connection.
Mainly in circular cross-section pipes, the flanges usually carry standardized geometric and resistance characteristics. This makes it compatible and allows you to easily connect tubes and various types of equipment and valves, even from distinct manufacturers.
Specifications of raised face weld neck flange:
Material: stainless steel 304,304L,316,316L carbon steel A105,20#
Production standards: AMSE/ANSI,JIS,DIN
Product Colors: Metal Color
Product Package: Wooden case or other
Production Process: Forging
Applications range: For use in the petroleum, smelting, foodstuff, power, papermaking
Flange Face Type: Flat Face(FF), Raised Face (RF), Ring Type Joint (RTJ)
According to the ASME/ANSI constructive norms, the flanges are standardized according to the nominal diâmentro (in inches) of the tubing where they install, and the ANSI B 16.5 standard handles up to 24 inches diameters and ANSI B 16.47 of larger diameters.
Between flanges of the same nominal diameter there are still different pressure classes that determine the maximum permissible internal pressures according to the working temperature. These classes are: 150 #, 300 #, 600 #, 900 #, 1500 # and 2500 #, where the symbol '#' equals psi unit. The ANSI b 16.47 also distinguishes class 75 #, besides these previous ones.
