Welding Neck Flange PN16
A flange welding neck PN16 consists of a circular joint with protruding flanges on a circumference, usually made from forgings, which are usually butted with pipes and can bare 16kg pressure. The rim of welding neck flange rim has a series of holes that allow flanges to be bolted to another flange. This flange is suitable for use in harsh environments with extreme temperatures, pressures, or other stress.
Welding Neck Flange usually have a raised face, flat face, or RJT face. When a raised face weld flange is necessary, the standard height is 1/16 inch for weld Flanges less than 400 #. For WN pipe flanges more than 400#, the standard raised face height is 1/4 inch.
